Okay, so i wanted to play some Nazi zombies one day so i popped my CD in for cod 5 and the menu comes up that gives me the options to play multilayer, solo etc. i press solo/co-op and i wait about 30 seconds, and then i get an error that says please insert the disk/DVD or whatever. so i looked at my DVD and it looked pretty messed up so i went to get a no CD crack (vty-0259.7z). after downloading, i opened it with win.rar, and they're two things in there, an nfo and CoDWaW.exe. i cant open the nfo for some reason and when i tried the CodWaW.exe i get a error stating. . . . .

"The procedure entry point_BinkRegisterFrameBuffers@8 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll"

i have no idea wtf it means, if anybody can help me out, that would be awesome. thanks.

I will first say that talk about these sort of things a frowned upon in the forums and although not in breach of the rules can lead to comments regarding piracy etc.. Please can any following posts therefore not comment on and illegal means to get games or any direct links to sites.

Having said that if you own a legal retail copy of the game i can't see a problem, especially due to the fact it protects your discs from damage and makes switching games much easier. The only problem with exe cracks is they need to be updated as the games get patched. Make sure you have the correct version for the patch you are using.

Using a "No CD/DVD" crack is a violation of the EULA, which means that the user has invalidated his license, which in turn means having CoD:WaW installed on his system constitutes copyright infringement (see this, for example).

I would respectfully suggest that this sort of discussion should not be permitted on this site.
