Hi.

Done a search for the following error can cant find any solutions.

ERROR! Reliable snaphsot overflow.

The problem is ive spend literaly ages making a halflife2 deathmatch map, testing it along the way by running it from within the deatmatch game/create server - no problems at all.

howver its nearing completeion so I decided to crank up a dedicated server an host it on that, however when I try to connect from within the deatmatch game it does the usual receiving server info then sending client info thing then disconnects with this error - HELP!

Ive hosted other custom maps from my dedicated server before & now withot issue - I can connect to them no bother.

Quite sad if i can fix this as ive spent ades on this map :(

a fat lot of goo you lot are! [tongue] he he.

In case anyone else gets this ive found the cause - ut having too many movable/physics props in your map - eg monitors, desks chairs and other movable stuff. The error itself means that when a client is connecting the map is changing too quickly to send a 'snapshot' of its current state to the client so they can join.

First I removed some stuff any the frequency of the error decrease, then i removed some more ant it disapeared.

May not be as much of an issue on a decent server but my PC cant cope!

cheers :D
