HI,

If I just did basic walls and textures and a few rotating doors in MOHAA radient....

Can I then load up the .map file into COD radient for the finishing touch's and script work with out any problems.

The reason I ask is for some strange reason I can get used to the COD radient.

I know they are(almost) identical, but using COD radient just don't feel right. If I am going to recreate the contact center (my place of work) I would be happier doing it in MOHAA Radient.

Can some one tell me just how much I can do in MOH Rad, before I have to transfer into COD Rad.

Ta Muchly.

The short answer is no.

The reasons are at least a few that I know of - I converted MoH:Stadt and working on Palermo to CoD:UO.

1> The scale is completely different. I don't know the exact dimensions of things in MoH but I managed to figure out that the CoD scale is about 75% of the MoH. In CoD, 1 grid unit = 1 inch. That's not true in MoH.

2> MoH supports LOD Terrain, CoD does not (neither CoD nor UO). Therefore, if you put any LOD terrain in your map in MoH Radiant, it will completely bomb out in CoD Radiant.

3> Parameters are different. In a single brush, there could be 4 or more lines in the .map file that defines it. In each of those lines are various parameters about that particular part of the brush. In CoD there appears to be 3 or more additional parameters than in MoH. What the differences are I don't know.

4> Detail definition is different. In MoH the way that a brush is identified as detail is completely different than in CoD.

The list may go on more than this but you get the idea. My suggestion would be to try to get used to the CoD Radiant interface and adjust the preferences maybe to match what you are used to in MoH Radiant. I know there are some things that can be changed/controlled relative to the views and cameras but not sure about things like mouse movement and such.
