Sorry for asking help on such a simple thing but im having a problem compiling my map ive downloaded all the video tutorials and no luck the error message is "Script Compile Error (see console for details). Thanks in advance

well something is wrong with your gsc file. Did you follow the advice and see your console for details? If so, post what it says here. And post your gsc as well.

Ok this is what it says in the console what is my gsc file so i can post it sorry about all the questions im new to this editing thing Thanks. .................................................... 60508 files in PK3 files ...............Game Initialzation........... gamename: Call Of Duty gamedate: Nov 10 2004 *****Script Compile Error Could not find script "codam\modtypes" ********************* ******** ERROR: Script Compile Error (see console for details)

you must take off all custom .pk3 files from cod/main folder like codam.pk3

Acutally I beleive that is looking for the codam\scripts dir. Do as Marco.Polo says. You should NEVER map with custom maps in the main dir as they will mess something up sooner or later.
