First, radiant crashes when you go to close has something to due with windows 2000/XP, i've been using it for a long long time, and it has never caused a problem or corruption in a map file... Generally updating your drivers (go to nvida not asus) and directX usualy solves MOST problems... Another common error is if your using the stock install for GTK, if you have GOLD cd's the folder is mis-titled.... "Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix - gold" = BAD "SOF2" = BAD "Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix" = GOOD To make it easy, open a stock texture to start, Also there are numerous post on adding custom textures, search the forums if you need additional help...

Now GtkaRadiant doesn't work, and if i get it started, an erros pups up, and closes radiant. i installed the program again, but after 2 or 3rd run the problem occures again. what can i do to fix this?

you said that you use gtkradiant 1.5.0, this is an unstable bèta version from what i've heard. try downloading gtkradiant 1.40 and see if that works. if not, use the radiant with sdk, i know everybody says gtk is better but i've always used sdk so far, and it works like a charm

..about my last reply, forget what i said.. SDK sucks big time use gtkradiant 1.4.0 it's the best :2guns:
