hi[wave]

when i make:

right klick->misc->model,

raw/xmodel/xxx

then i can walk trough it.[banghead]

pls help me that i can't walk trough models[eek]

it can be two things: or you did not set up the editor properly, or there isn't a collmap for that model. if not, just use brushes with the clip_nosight texture (under tools) to form the model, the brushes prevent players from walking through

A collmap or collision map is for models, so basically its clip brushes in the shape of the model so you cant walk through it.

To stop going through them, make a new map, enter in your xmodel, put it at 0, 0, 0 Then put a clip around it. Then save it what ever your model is called and save it in to collmap. So say i did it with prop bucket.

make new map raw/xmodel prop_bucket clip it go to collmap save it as prop_bucket.

I think it was discovered quite early in the games' release that you dont add models in COD4 Radiant like you did in previous versions of Radiant - by going to misc model, and adding the model that way.

With COD4, the process of adding a model with colmaps already attached is to add the model as a prefab.

Yup, xmodels don't have collmaps. Use prefabs for that. Use xmodels for stuff in the background (non playable areas).
