für wasser gibt es spezielle texturen - diese sind zwar in der auswahlliste und im radiant mit einer zahlentextur belegt - aber nach dem compilen ist es richtiges wasser

there are special textures for water - in radiant and the texture window they are covered with numbers - but after compiling they should been real water

If all your asking is how to make water in radiant so that when you run your map, it is basically water...then this has been covered in simple tutorials for beginner mappers.

however, i have took the time to help. Basically you need to go to textures on your toolbar,. then surface type, then water (As shown in the first picture i uploaded).

then there is a choice of texture for you to create water with. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF SELECTING THE TEXTURE LABELLED WATER ON THE IMAGE, this is just a tool and not the actual water. This tool 'water' adds the water effect to brushes such as when you shoot it, it makes a splash effect and when you walk onto it, it sounds like water.

basically, you should just stick to one water texture, either of them work. select the water_duhoc texture which is blue in colourd with numbers on it, dont worry, in-game when you run your map, it will change into the water rather than have numbers on it (As shown in the second picture i uploaded).

Hope i cleared things up for you. [thumbs_up][tongue]

This thread was started nearly a year ago. Do you really think the OP is sitting there waiting for an answer?

Always check the date of a thread before you go bumping it alive again.

How the hell do I know why no one answered it 10 months ago. The point is it was 10 months ago.

Bumping old threads makes people think its an alive thread, which needs looking at and checking. When it becomes known that it is an old thread some joker bumped because he didnt look at the date of the original post, it just feels like a complete waste of time having looked at it. Do you understand that now?

Good.

Good.

slow buddy - no need to get angry!
I just answered cause in my opinion - i'm happy if even some one answered some questions to some threads.
Isn't it better that ppl can find a thread with answers instead of starting a new thread? ;-)
but this is not the place for discussions.
Maybe some one will search through modsonline and is looking out for this answer :-)

anything alright
