I hope they have left some sort of CO-OP gameplay in it. Maybe not Zombies, but the Campaign online idk. Lets hope they release the SDK for this 1.. i havent heard any news on it which is strange for IW...

Correct, however the stock _ac130.gsc did not work in MP until it was rewritten.

Same applies for the AT4, sticky nades, Killing Spree's, the "Buzz Kill" -- we just called it Hallelujah, and various other things.

I think you misunderstood what Sparky said - he said it was already in the game, BEFORE it got cut. Which means, they didnt take it from X4 - X4 took it from IW.

Its easy to take an existing script, shuffle it a little and then make it work in a mod. I did that with Artillery in COD4, because the code for it was essentially already there; and I did it with Airstrikes in COD5, because it was essentially already there.

There is no originality in taking an idea already in a game, and claiming it for your own just because you got it working in MP AFTER the game ships. Whose to say it wouldnt have worked in the released game had they spent more time on it?

The true hallmark of a outstanding modder is to come up with something truely their own - something no one else has done before. Something I and a lot of others modders dont acheive. I personally dont think Ive come up with a single original idea in my modding. I stand on the shoulders of Giants!
