thought it was about time i showed u lot how i've been wasting my time [biggrin].

i started out thinking i wanted a cross between mp_ship and wetworks....and stupidly i thought it would be quite easy! [banghead]

so after many, many headaches....heres some during and up to date screenies.

sorry for all the pics....but its took a while! after all the custom textures/models i can see why no one else has attempted it! [lol]

hoping to be finished in the next few weeks dependant on free time.

one dilemma i'm getting closer to is search and destroy...

the original did'nt support it! [eek]

so if anyone who remembers it well, has any idea on bomb placement it would be very helpful [lol]

Axis spawned on the back of the ship, so that one is obvious, and you could use some kind of flak gun as the objective.

For the Marines (british in the original), I would suggest down stairs in the engine room. But if you do decide to do that, it sounds like you will have to make some kind of custom model for the Marines, as you obviously cant have a flak gun in an engine room - maybe use the SAB model for that?

this is around the lines i was thinkin too...

the "normal" 3 routes rule can't really apply on this map because of the differing levels...

the engine room is actually more in the middle....just down a level from the bridge and next to the radio room as per the original, it does have 3 routes so am happy with this one....but then i m stuck for a second. it can't be too close to the 1st....but then u don't want one more appealing to attackers than the other [confused]


heres wot i have.....i like the custom s&d models idea too! [biggrin] but which....

maybe i could spawn half the allies in the bridge and have bomb B nearer the middle....[confused]

i've even considered some kinda destructible wall that hides the bomb....make them fight over that before the plant....this also applies to sabotage.

appreciate the input demon [wink]

i've not even got to factions yet! [lol]

as i expected havn't had much time for this the last couple of weeks...so small update for now...

generator room and radio room done. [biggrin]

lowerdecks nearly done.

insides nearly portalled!

a few more models to import, then i can start to furnish the bridge [biggrin]


am upto about 90 .iwis in my iwd!

gettin to be an assman expert! [casanova]
