BURMA, 1944
Gen. Frank D. Merrill, under the command of the infantry brigade 5307composed of three thousand American soldiers volunteers, popularly known as Merrill's Marauders has the mission to prevent the advance of Japanese troops in Burma, with a million soldiers are waiting to link with the East German troops. Burma, key to India, is in Japanese hands and its conquest is crucial to the Allies. The 5307 is the first to infiltrate behind the Japanese lines in the middle of jungle. Initially due mainly kept well hidden to surprise the enemy better. Your strategy can not be another blow to the hand, but here are also a terrifying new enemy: the jungle.
I present you my new map mp under construction, which will be the first developed to CoD WAW. Interestingly, the idea of this map, I came a long time ago, long before we knew of COD4 or COD5 in fact before even finishing my map "Alcazaba". It seemed a good idea but i gave off waiting for a while until i have time.
The Pacific theater of operations is much less known or less "amateur" or "conoisseurs" that the Nazis with their western theater, the Normandy and Stalingrad xD. I guess that does not leave until the new HBO series this war will not change.
But is that even within the broad Pacific theater of operations (which spanned half a hemisphere land) is even less well-known theater of the South-Eastern Asia. The image of the commandos fighting in the jungle and fighting in the ruins of ancient temples hidden by vegetation is also an almost iconic image, a very attractive idea and original enough for a mood map.
The peculiarity of the subject has compelled me to take stock of ambient sounds original, for which I give thanks for the intensive search for my brother and fellow clan W1Ls0n. I also had to make several custom textures, given what the original topic, which did not have resources within the engine for COD WAW. I have made extensive use of modern techniques to create pixel shader I think some textures that were equal to those of the game.
I'd like to send a cordial greeting to the whole community MODSonline!

Everything is built entirely in Radiant.
In the case of "prasat" with four faces of Buddha, I have done with patches and meshes terrain. As is an element that is normally seen by the players from a distance is not a very large number of vertices, complete with texture Custom DX9 that I created here that provides any level of detail than the geometry itself .
Now I do not have references handy charts that I used to create texture and build "Prasat, but it should look a lot like this:
Regarding the roof, although I do not understand (sorry for my low level of English) is actually the top of the stone vaults that were carved in the shape of tiles emulating wood construction.
I've done with other patches accumulated and decals with different blends of fouling. As for the peaks is a simple decal texture that comes with the game.

Well, gentlemen, that this is over. The hardest work (mapping and texturing) is almost finished (say you're at 98%) I have left, besides finishing the remaining 2%, add spawns, game modes, ambient sounds, minimap for aerial reconnaissance, bombing, dogs, etc..
