Don't forget to have a private beta before you release publicly, I'm sure a lot of modders here will want to give it a run for it's money... and by the looks of it it's worth a lot [thumbs_up]

Burma is, by far, one of the prettiest, most playable custom maps released!

Congrats Huruman!

Thank you very much for your comments. [thumbs_up]

Shortly publish here the release of the beta version of the map.

I have made custom textures using 3 images per texture: "color map" (textured base) "normal map" (DX9 bumping) and specular map "(reflections and brightness) I used a little program called crazybump to generate the last 2, it is very intuitive if you have a mental idea of what you want to get.

Frankly I'm very pleased with the outcome of the textures, I think they give a unique and identifiable to the map.

But Burma is more than just a pretty face! I relied heavily on the approach to gameplay and optimization of the map. [biggrin]

Mike Nomad, thank you very much for your opinion! [wave]

Many greetings from Spain to the whole community of MODSOnline!
