Ok I just tried to Alpha Blend and I used the same exact textures that the tut did and followed the steps exactly:

1. I used ground/grass@ravine for my sides and ground/dirt earthbase for my blend.

2. I made three of them like he said and put my blend in the middle of the three patch meshes. After that I copied the middle one and put it in front and changed it to the same texture as my sides. Now this is the fishy part . I pressed the "y" button and selected flatten alpha and unchecked the soft selection thingy. Now when I use left click for it to disappear it doesn't disappear. Can anyone help me plz it would be great??? :2guns: :2guns: :angryalien:

I believe you need to hold down "alt" while clicking in order for it to work. Left click plus alt takes the texture away bit by bit and Right click plus alt does the opposite.

look at the other tut for alpha blending. You just need 2 meshes, one solid and one alpha. Leave the solid one alone and edit the alpha one. Ah, I am no good at explaining

here is the tut I learned from and it works very well this way.

Make sure you have, Alpha, Flatten and Uncheck allow selection.
