ok i have a linksys router which has:

1xlaptop (hardwired)
1xdesktop(hardwired)

when i try to connect to the same server with both laptop and desktop it keeps kicking me out.
now i have 2 different cdkeys so it should let me in.

on the laptop i can load to another server and play while the desktop connects to another server and playes.

but both together on the same server using different legit cdkeys that i purchased...no chance

now the server in question has disabled the punkbuster to see if it was clashing but still i can't connect both machines.

any help please would be great here.

What error message is generated?

I have heard changing the port number one machine uses on your desktop shortcut can fix this.

I haven't personally had the issue arise, and (used to) regularly have two (or more) people at my house playing on the same server at once.

it's not a desktop server we are talking about but the actual computers.

you see i have a laptop and a desktop computer,
they are both connected to my linksys 4 port router with cables.
this is what happens....

lets say i want to join a server called "test" both machines can't connect to the same server, regardless i have purchased 2 versions of coduo from the shops with seperate cdkeys.

i have no idea why this is happening.

this is exactly what happens:

laptop connects to a gaming server and downloads the mod or files which that server is running, join a team and all is fine.

desktop computer connects to the same gaming server and all it does is stop, now what i mean by stop....
all it does is scroll the same thing "awaiting connection"
this can go on for ages even gets upto 100 or more.

same thing happens if i try to connect the other way around.
desktop first then laptop...same thing "awaiting connection" for ages and not actually connecting.

Have you tried different servers?

Some games have settings which limit the number of players with the same IP joining. Not sure if UO is one of these.
