I would like to create a North-Afican map(after a long search of what to settle on) and I would like some sand textures and others like that. Does anyone know a place where I can download some textures to use?

ther are some custom textures i made in download section for cod. im not sure if it will help u for a desert type of map but its possible. why dont you make ure own custom textures? there are tut(s) on the site

searched for it normal way and the forums search but no luck findin that. Plus I dont know how Id find a suitable pic for a texture....

oh ye do any of u know wot model the grave stones are called? i cant find them

awesome. the gravestones are called tombstones in the models and they are tombstone1 up to tombstone8.

well theres a prob with those textures ricta. in the editor, and in the imagesyou sent repeat. next to the part of the texture I would use is the imgae getting smaller and smaller next to it. This is a bad explanation because its hard to explain and I would have a pic but imag shack wont work right now.

ok, so I'm goin evejn further ahead with the map(havn't really had the time to start yet) and I found a great desert type texture in russia> ground that looks supposed to be a cliff texture but looks like sand, rocks, and brush. I'll use that and the dam road for desert town roads if I can find a way to get the sand and road to blend. I have a question though unrelated to textures: How does one make a map barrier for a desert where barriers are almsot non-existant?
