Got it working!!! [rocking]

I tried the method i posted above, took the loadscreen_mp_landing.iwi file dropped it on to the iwi2dss converter and opened it in photoshop, i then drag and dropped the tga file for my nightfall loadscreen into photoshop and deleted the mp_landing layer, saved it as dds and dropped it on to the dds2iwi converter and then placed the new iwi into the iwd file.

Hey presto, loadscreen came up straight away!!

Thanks for all the suggestions and help on this!!!! [thumbs_up]

Great job Mooton.....

Document what you did with the steps in order. You may have created a new Loadscreen Workaround! [rocking]

What is the problem with the MP loadscreens that warrants a work around? SP screens are fine I wouldn't of thought there would be much of a difference.

Well i don't know exactly but finally got it to work now with those files and the rgnwiki alternative method for loadscreen.
I think it has to do with the zone_source/english/assetlist/mp_yourmap.csv

this is different in the tally files:

material,$defeatbackdrop
material,$levelbriefing
image,defeat
image,loadscreen_mp_yourmap

and some other stuff.

Thanx a lot for the link, you saved me a lot of time!
