First I was getting an error about lightmap uses more then one pixel per inch... I deleted the offending brushes and tried compiling again and now the damn cod2map.exe is crashing on me with no errors coming up.

finding triangle windings...
assigning primary lights...
splitting windings into lightable areas...
coalescing coincident windings...
removing occluded winding fragments...
finding sun shadow casters...
splitting large windings...
merging into concave windings...
finished in 19 seconds
fixing t-junctions...
tethering holes to their concave windings...
building lightmap groups...

Every time right after lightmap groups it crashes... anyone have clue?

Can you run the BSPInfo from launcher and post results?

Do you mean simply compile with only bsp checked off?

I even tried creating a new map then copying everything over and still the same crash at the same spot. I then even went in and deleted half my map... basically all I did was created terrain for the other half and made a building at that end. But even deleting all of that and back to where I was when I started... still same error and same spot... even did a copy paste of that final attempt and new map and no help

you may have to many reflection_probes,
in waw you only need 3 to 5 in the whole map, also it can have bad reflection's from water, or modles, remove all but 1 probes to find out, also check your worldspawn settings sometimes things will get added, and cause this crash
open with note book and look to see that only sun values are there and not [trigger,damage and so on values] settings are in there

No just click BSP Info and run the launcher, thinking again i dont think it will help since you dont get the BSP created....

@COLMAC, the Reflection_probes take no part in the BSP compile, only after the BSP + Lighting is done.
