When i posted the info regarding custom cod, it was just that , information. It was not meant to become a sounding board for everyone's opinions, ideas, etc. I was just informing people as alot of us got a lot of useful information from the site. I do apologize to the admins of this site for other members exploiting it. Was not my intentions at all.

The post is very much appreciated, which is why it got added to the News. Sometimes comments are made which could break the rules or lead to 'flame wars' which would break the rules, that's why from time to time edits are made.

Forums are for debate. What else are people going to do with a thread other than to voice their opinions? Unless it turns into a flame war, I personally dont see an issue with people taking a subject off on tangents instigated by the thought of one particular poster. After all, that is why they are called "threads" - to weave back and forth.

As long as they are "loosely" connected to the topic title (i.e. they dont suddenly start talking about a completely different subject, like the death of MJ for example), threads should be allowed to free-fall - as long as they dont turn personal and turn into flame wars.

As Ralph Waldo Emmerson said: "a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds"
