If I want say make a differant grass texture do I follow the same tut as for cod4 or is there any differance for this with cod5?

Hmm, cant seem to get it working. Anyone have a link for a COD5 tut for this so I can be sure nothing is differant from cod?

save your texture as 512x512 24bit .tga, save it in the texture_assets folder, we'll assume your texture is called 'grass01' load assman, goto menu>save as>grass01,
goto material>new entry type 'grass01, now select surface type>grass then usage>ground, put a tick in 'seelow' now click on ... in color map and load your texture grass01, goto menu>save as>grass01, press F12 and now you have your texture.

It's that simple [biggrin]

Just make sure you check the path to where its being saved. You'll need to go between the source_data and the texture_assets folders.

Save the gdt for texture when you first save it in AssMan in the source_data folder. I think it defaults to the texture_asset folder and when you save there is wont find your new texture...

Mine is all saved to texture_assets folder .tga .gdt, and when i'm finished the textures are all there when I load radient, might be different on other peoples comps so it would be wise to check out Bloodletters advice.

BTW! Its F10 NOT F12 sorry, [biggrin]
