k am having some success now...
the above tut is missing a step up to now regarding this step
"Convert xmodel_export to usuable textured Model"
once you've set your settings u have to save a .gdt to this folder
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\texture_assets"
as you do with custom textures!
i now get something in radiant! a mesh model in 2d view....but nothing in 3d view
so now i just have to work out why the converters giving me this error
ERROR: file 'main/physic/C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War
\' is not under 'C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\'
aborting....
Conversion failed with 1 errors. Hit key to continue.
hmmm...

okay error sussed!
the physics files need to be in a subfolder of C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\share\main\physic
i just called mine "cod"
full path "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\share\main\physic\cod"
also saving your .gdt here seems ok too
dont forget to put your .iwi from raw/images in your iwd!
now to try a complicated model with 10 materials..... ![[eek]](images/BBCode/smilies/eek.gif) |
