Does anyone know what's the name of the Multiplayer Marine Body skin? I only found the SP version. and what Iwd is it in? I only found the arm and hand part can't find the full body.

The multiplayer marine models arent called "marine" but "raider". There are 5 different types - assault, sniper, smg, heavy gunner, and rifleman.

If you open AssetViewer (bin folder) and type in "raider", it will list all the materials files used for a particular model.

Here are the materials file names for the assault MP model makeup:

mtl_char_usa_raider_mp_head1
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_gear2_canvas
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_canvas1
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_lthr1
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_metal1
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_gear_canvas
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_gear_metal
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_gear2_metal
mtl_char_usa_marine_mp_cotton1

If you open them with a Hex editor, you will see the colormap names - that is, the IWI file names.

You can do that with any of the raider mp types.

Xmodel Exporter remains the best way to do this. Why? Because you must know ALL the colormap (main IWI file) for each LOD Models. The LOD models are basically the different models used in game depending on the distance at which you see them.

Only modifying the closest LOD Colormap will result in the model changing back to stock skin in the distance.

Here is an example of what Xmodel Exporter will show you on selecting a Model (MP Assault USA in this example):



The .dds file highlighted is the main Skin converted from IWI (yes Xmodel Exporter will convert for you ).

Give it a go, its a must have for skinning!
