is there a really complicated way to do it, or is it simple?

I don't currently have radiant installed but i know there is a set scale function on the toolbar, you need your prefab selected then its a drop down menu on the toolbar where you can enter the scale as a decimal.

Maybe someone with radiant installed will be able to provide more accurate information.

From what I know prefabs can not be resized only models, using entity editor (N) button and typing key of modelscale and value of scale you want. I could be wrong though.

well. is the prefab just a model or is it just brushes?

the only way i know how to do it if it's just brushes is.

1. Select Prefab
2. Right Click grid
3. Prefab -> Enter Prefab
4. Selection -> Scale -> 0.5 will make it half as big

hope that helps, if it's a model. do the same

but after entering prefab

push N to bring up the entity window.
type

key: modelscale
value: 0.5 (half size)
