Link is bad there sparks.
However, this is the one, well let me rephrase this, this is one of the things I hate about Treyarch. They have to release it for the consoles first... it is all about the consoles. That is all of the game studios care about, because that is where the money is... or is it? I bet you Activision has sold more computer coppies of Call of Duty 1 than consoles, overall. Console sales go up when the game comes out, but if it is a good game, people will keep buying it on the computer. Computers that can run games like Call of Duty 1 and 2 are ceaper now, more people have the ability to play those games, making the sales continue.
Grrr, dumb consoles. |
Few tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.
These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes. |

Grrr, dumb consoles. ATV makes these decisions on a corporate level - not the producers (Trey & IW). The producer is bound by the terms of their contract to produce the game on whatever platform is dictated. MW was produced (ported) from console, which was a trend that started with this series with CoD2.
don't shoot the messenger applies here, and i think it unfair to point a finger at either IW or Trey for a direction that they have been mandated to develop, by suits who are looking at dollars and cents
long time players of the series posted this major complaint that the game 'felt' ported (ref:CoD2) but nothing can be done about the way the money is being spent in the industry now other than to tell all the console players you know to play the games on a 'real' (aka pc) system and - in a sense- come to the dark side...we really are more fun ;)
on the note of surpassing 1million in the first week...congrats are in order, i guess - with some salt....easy to sell to sheep - especially captive audience sheep :P
