hhmmm well someone will portal all buildings for me.. and then i can search for a tut and try to ad the vclog thing... because i have to less time to portal it myself and to learn it :(

I am leaving town for a few days, i'll be back next week to fix it. If that is too late then you can send the rest out without mine. I am not sure how to even use the editor as I haven't since I made this map, I have been HL2 editing.

Ive nearly done fixing those errors, but theres a few still outstanding. If i get time then those VGLOG tuts will be downloaded and complied into the map, just to give it that finished feel. [biggrin]

Ok íve got a real big prob i fixed the bugs and replaced all the gsc substract arches with new hand made snapped to grid ones i did that with alot of brushes not only the arches, i also added some new grass meshes and 2d tree foliage top get rid of the gaps you could see sometimes in the map..! now i compiled it tonight full so flare on -extra, but now after sample based diffuse lightning it says something like:
maxoccluders, reduce occluders on "a certain number" bytes..

and then it quites compiling and the world and modeling lightning isn't done so the map has no lightning i it :(

Ihad this before on my other pc also on this pc with mp_stcomedumont, i have the feeling that it doesn't have aneough virtual memory to compile it completely, so i think those new things i added like the 2d foliage, and new graslands.. that that was too many but i don't know fr sure, anyone a suggestion..? my suggestion is that i will rebuilt the surrounding terrain whole over again, and then i will make it nicer and especially much simpler and not so big. hopefully it will compile then, but when the portals are in it it has to calculate that part also and i'm scred that i will quite after sample based diffuse lightning :( but we will see...

anyways someone who knows the real answer for this prob...?

Right, i looked in the common mapping errors, and sadly [cry] there was nothing on the subject ofmaxoccluders and i have never heared fo that error before. All i can say is %$£^&%*$£ errors!!! and i hope you have a back up.
Keep trying and eventually it will be a great map and after all your score ### was brilliant!!!

yeps i have a back-up the one i first send to the modscon04 and that also compete with it, but now when i have fixed the bugs and added terrain etc. it didn;t worked :( but i will delete the surrounding terrain make it simpler, nicer, and smaller.. so that hopefully it will compile correctly probably tonight again
