I first begun mapping and I was experiencing how to make a curved road :) Seriously, mp_field was actually a test map, with my professional (as I would call it) coming up next. I was just playing along making some cool map without trying to make it perfect. I'm not saying 'I did'nt even try my best', but when I started mp_field, it was just a experience map, a garbage map. When the idea and all looked quite well, I figured it would be a sound idea to keep going. My main idea of making the map was.. not the lame tree background, but real tree models. A cool morning effect. A (plowing-)field. Your dicision if it worked out.

My next map, I already started month before the contest was even started (the judgement) called mp_brunville WILL be perfectionized. So stay tuned and great maps by all! Hope more competitors join in the fun, really.. hope that. 7 is not much :( Long post ^^'

hey adwamslayer :D didn't you recieved an e-mail with scores..? gorilla scored fisrt in our general member group but also overall and snellius and i scored 2nd in our group but also in overall..!!!! .. but i'm not going to post teh scores here because in teh mail it says that it is for our personal info...

Oh right, its just at the moment ntlworld my isp, is down, i cant even access their website let alone my e-mail.
Why does it have to go down when you need it most???

The Mappack won't be out until the bug reports are completed by the authors. Once that's done you'll be able to grab it then. Hopefully it won't take to long.

Just wanted to add my congratulations to the winners, and my compliments to all the entrants....we saw some pretty good maps and the competition was not only tough to judge, but produced some high calibre maps as well

A pat on the back to all entrants - you should be proud of what you did
