hey there again guys,
i have made my model in gmax
i no i'm abit of a pain but can any help me with modeling?
i have a few questions...
1. how do i add my model to cod5
2. what is the file type for models in cod5
3. where can i find them?
any help would be very very much appreciated..

i dont know anything about gmax. but in maya you have to get plugin by using usersetup.mel and maya.env

The models should be in your raw folder.
get out images, materials, xmodel, xmodelsurfs, xmodelalias and xmodelparts in to a folder.
then download xmodel exporter at:
http://diegologic.net/CoD/XmodelExporter.htm

This makes them to .obj which is readable by maya i dont know about gmax. But models do not have rigging.

i have maya 2008 and 3d max 9 and gmax lol but i havent a clue how to use them i seen a tut on how to do it but i'm very confused....
anyway here is the model i'm trying to get working

anymore tips?

well this tutorial inwhich stealthcod2 told me works very well with getting the grips of animating, moving around rigging a skeleon and making apples... the link is...

P.S it is for maya 6 but i have normal 8.5 and there pretty the same..
