Ok i was browsing though the tutorials for Cod:waw to cheak if anything new had came, but nothing good has came for single player so i was thinking if some people could add some of these:
Adding/Making Objectives
Make AI Move to certain locations with triggers
Making Tanks(jeeps,planes, ect..) move and fire
FX(more Detailed) and SFX would be nice :D
Making people say certain lines that are in the .iwd's
Adding Custom sounds/Textures
and lastly how to end a mission :P

This would be nice :D
Thanks for Reading look forward to some Tutorials
I would like to see some good single player maps be4 MW:2

A lot of (but not all) the tutorials for other games will work throughout the cod series.

You may struggle to find new content added as i have found that due to the difficulties involved with mapping now, by which i mean it's much harder than back in cod1 where you would just compile you map and stuff it in a zip folder and your pretty much set to go. Also the file sizes of the downloads and lack of custom servers all add to the problem

Even these forums i notice much less traffic than back in the good ol days, it's a sad sad time for modders :(

As for AI moving, trigger_multiple targeting a spawner targeting an action node.

Or friendly chains/colour nodes, I wrote a basic tutorial on it recently which is buried within the forums somewhere, I'll try and find it.

Thanks guys and Rasta i feel you there has not been alot of Traffic on here i was some1 that came here for Modsonair and the loads of people that would come just to help you. i just would like to see people come back like the old days and mabey if we ever get the traffic like we had the tutorials will come back and techno2l <3's for the links thanks

we have most of those tutorials....

AI movement you can just do with colorgroups and covernodes....


I have all the above in my single player map.

i think modern warfare might bring in the traffic again :P look at the tutorials we have for cod4 :D

Lot of tutorials but only a handful of SP maps compared to large library of SP/Coop maps for WaW. And that's assuming IW will release mod tools for MW2.

Is there anything out of ordinary you need a tutorial for that isn't covered for CoD4/WaW?

Not really i do have a test map with destrucable walls but i have a question i havent looked into it yet but can u create a FX and a SFX with the trigger that is used to destory the wall. Srry i know it is a noob question but as i said i have not looked into it

Trigger the effect to play when u go over the trigger_multiple...make it like an explosion FX...make the part of the wall disappear when effect is played.

If you have a destructible wall I guess you could put some exploder there like a barrel and when that is shot i think it will break the wall as well. I played with making destructible environments in cod4.
