I got this new error when my computer froze -.- again. I've never had this problem. Then all of the sudden I tried to open my map and this apeared:

It sucks cause it was basically done. I don't have this problem with any OTHER maps at all. How can I fix it? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That error is the RESULT of your freeze - not the CAUSE. It is reporting that the map didnt load properly so the code reported a truncated string token at line 7142.

The cause of your map not loading is either a bad brush, or an inverted vertice face somewhere. Load the map again in devmode, with devmap, and make sure you have console logging enabled (set log file 1).

After the crash, you will undoubtedly get the bad token error again, but ignore that and go straight for the log file (console_mp.log).

Open it in something like Worpad and look for any errors (i.e. search for the word "error" ) on bad brushes or vertices.

Its not the game...I can't open it in the editor.

something is wrong in the .map file. check the autosave.map or backup your corrupt .map and fix it by hand using a texteditor.

if the problem still remains, you can send the .map file to me, i had this error before. i managed to fix it :]
