Take it out of your Documents and Setting\Desktop folder..

Make a folder on C:\Maps then change your bat file to reflect it.

Well

The last sentance, ""Press any key to continue" did you do that, and what did it say?

You dont need to post the entire out put again, just the last part "After" you press any key.

Next.
Remove any non-stock pk3's in the folder.
Then retry

this is just a guess, but this looks suspicious to me "ParseEpair: key 'gentlemen""' contains a " character, will cause parsing errors "

Remove the quote--> " from entity in the arena.map file and replace with this ---> ' (single quote)

A targetname or an entity has the insorrect quote.

The compiler sees this

'gentlemen"" and then it looks for the next " to end the string.


Ok, beat me up if I am incorrect.
That qoute the compiler sees, means it is looking for a string to declare, at least in C++.

Hell I forgot, been 2 years since well, nvm.

But, hey. Its the 21'st century and nvm.

[wink] good eyes robo_donut, I usually look for the obvious reasons.

yea, press any key to continue is the last step in the compiler. I can't tell what it says after thast (if anything) because the cmd window dissappears after that.

how do i remove the doublequotation? just press N for each object? lol

You can open the .map in a text editor
Then perform search for the 'gentlemen"

I am almost certain that gentlemen was not a stock target naming or entity.

So it could be one of your targets, or an entity.

Press "m" in editor and it should list the map contents, dont know if it will list by entity name.
