I have made a high quality set of tutorial movies of start to finish for mapping. Currently I have nearly 5 Gig which I am disecting and editing into sections and groups.
If anyone would like to see any ideas produced, please send me an email. All my learnings are thanks to this site right here in Modsonline and over at RGN. The first set should be out soon. Here is a my art work for the start clip and end clip.

Sorry Morphis... The map is TDM, but not to say that all the techniques can not be followed for all of the map. The video display nearly every part of the mapping, other than effects.
I have no need for the effects in this map, but in the next series will be happy to do a small map with working on the effects editor and saving your own effects. This first series is based on the basics of mapping and then working through to more detailed mapping, then basics of terrain editing, through to advanced terrain editing. There is also some basic lighting through to advanced lighting. Producing your loadscreen from printscreen > editing image > making artwork surrounding loadscreen > using assman > inserting script. Making minimap (same methods as loadscreen).
There is over 20hrs of editing over 50 smalll flash videos at 640x480 with keystroke elements and callouts to show what to press and what to do. No naration as it is not needed.
So will I produce the map as a playable game type right now? Probably not, I have enough to get on with and by the end of the editing, then I will use that last step of compiling in the last videos... That to me is more important. See below of what can be expected on how to produce the final loadscreen:

I would be more than happy to make a series for scripting if someone were to come on board and help out, I would make a screencast, then redo it into a full set of movies. But once this first project is complete. Each movie finishes off with the credits screen which can accomidate the thanks to whoever helps, which is then image mapped with hotspot which then links direct back to your URL as does the modsonline and RGN images.

So here is an example of one of the movies...
Maybe a mod can move this if neccesary. This file will need to buffer download 22mb... Hopefully this starts the tast buds for what will come.
