after watching video tutorials i saw that for example the couches show when you place them and so do the zombies but on my mod tools they dont they just show as a red box? is that normal? is there an option to turn on somewhere? Make sure you have installed the tools correctly. Also make sure that "skinned" is ticked: Click "View" at the top of radiant and then "entities as.." > "skinned".
