got my minimap working but now i have this

the roofs at the side look stretched...



notice the stretched out roof on top of minimap...

what is wrong ..,its only on the sides ...

u need to move the minimap thingies (the name escapes me at the mo) further apart....beyond the boundaries of the map.

or making it transparent might help or both [lol]


or change the height to lower......

i would do all these things [biggrin]

If you extend the boxes, it will work but there will still be the stretched out effect.

Those lines are there because the way you have done the minimap, it will draw the last pixel on the minimap forever. You can put a black line on the perimeter of the 500x500 IWI file to make it draw black forever, which makes it look better.

You can also make it a transparent minimap, like in my map: Georgian Bay. Making it transparent looks a lot better and will be clear once a player sees the edge of the minimap. Heres a tutorial:

To remove the strech parts on edge of map simply paint in Black the outside of the areas. Save as DDS DTX1 1bit alpha and that way it will not show the whats beyond the sqaure you defined.

Otherwise just paint black anyways or any full color.

loadingscreen, minimap done....some minnor errors the fix and

then...release it...

if only had more time [[mad] work]
