Taken from the front-end of Customcod's advert for this "job offer":
Quote: With over 25,000 members, and an average of 200-300 new per day CustomCoD is the most active 3rd Party Call of Duty Custom Content website. Because of this, any mod featured here will become one of Call of Duty's Biggest.
That's a bold claim which I very much doubt is true. For example, I doubt that Customcod is more active than this site - modsonline, and I doubt Customcod has more members than this site.
Also, its not how many members you have - its quality. Modsonline has quality.
Personally, I would advise against advertising a project which is prefaced by questionable claims. It just undermines any good the project might have.

Well, actually, you implied it when you claimed that mods posted on your site would be big in Call of Duty because you had 25,000 members and because "CustomCoD is the most active 3rd Party Call of Duty Custom Content website".
By your argument, if a site like modsonline has more members than you, and is more active than you, then posting mods here would do the modder more of a favour than posting at CustomCod, would it not?
I certainly dont want to fight with you, but I think now perhaps you can see my point?
I wish you luck with your venture, I would just humbly suggest that you dont make questionable claims about the benefits of posting at your site anymore, as from what Ive witnessed around the COD community, owners and frequenters of other sites tend to get their noses out of joint quite quickly as egos loom large in the community.
BTW - although you didnt post the snippet I quoted here, you linked to it with an invite to learn more at CustomCod. Thats as good as quoting it here as I see it.

Are you directing those remarks at me? If so, I think you must have me confused with someone else with a similar name, as I have never been in a modding project before, and am not likely to as I dont work well in a team.
I only mod for my clan (Demon clan), and I do that on my own. |
