Hi,

I have just succeeded in converting my first sketchupfile into
an xmodel. I used 1 color/texture.
does anyone have a clue how the color map for materials
in assetmanager works ?
I would like to be able to use more than one color/texture per xmodel.

for anyone interested :
*sketchup export to obj
*open skm files (texture) in sketchupfolder as rar and convert the png into tga with irfanview.
*use toxic obj to xmodelexport converter
*open xmodelexport as txt and change the names of the
textures at the bottom into the tga ones
*make new material in assetmanager with the tga ,convert
*make new model with the xxx.modelexport file, convert
et voila

grtz,
nolman

If you convert the obj for use in Maya (actually it can probably open them natively), you can use as many textures as you want. Maya's what is normally used for COD4 models.
