Hey i started mapping for rtcw about 2 years ago but stopped after a few months. I decided to get back in the swing of things with CoD UO. I have created my first map, and after hearing many problems about compiling i decided to follow a tutorial on how to get it done right. I get to the part where i have to rename the Call of Duty folder, but when i try to rename it says " Cannot rename the folder "Call of Duty Game of the Year Edition" file may be in use.
I never had any of these troubles when mapping for rtcw. Please reply

your games probaly is use!

you need to shut down everything that would be using call of duty...like radiant, or stuff using call of duty...then u should be able to rename

if that doesnt work restart your pc- open nothing but c:/program files/ and rename it then

Hey again.
Since your help i was able to complete the tutorial on how to compile. But when i run both my .bat files and then go to gradiant and click one of the bsp programs a DOS window pops up and is gone in an 1/8 of a second . Have you guys got any idea what im doing wrong or how to fix it?
Help will be greatly appreciated
