Hey guys. I have 1 button and one light. I want to make it so when the button is pressed the light goes on, and when the button is pressed AGAIN the light goes off. I originally made 2 outputs, 1 for ON and one for OFF, but that confuses Hammer editor and it makes it so I can only turn the light on, but not off. Help.

There are loads of ways to do this, Here's the one I know

Make whatever object (Normally a brush) you want to be the button and tie it to a func_button.

On the output tab click add then select OnPressed under output named

Next under target entities select your light entity (make sure you have given it a name)

Under via this output select toggle

Now go to the flags tab and tick toggle.

If you want it to be off when you start go to your light entity and under flags tick the start dark option. That should do it. Now when you run your map, you should press the button and the light comes on, When you press it again it should go off.
