[TUTORIAL] How to create a MINIMAP for Multiplayer (FIX) Call of Duty 4 : CoD4 MP Mapping not sure, but 1 way to "trick", or basically run around without your HUD that works for me is by setting my mini-map height to 1 :) Not sure what you are doing with your skybox, just remember to raise all 4 walls to the same height to prevent leaks. ...
