cant get pickups to show in the game

prob the answer is simple :). Your cfg has probably the pickups off, which means you can't see them or pick them up! Try using a default cfg, then u should be able to see pickups :)... [more]

Sometimes I get lag in GTK radiant, scrolling in camera is very slow and everything is really getting slow. Anyone knows how this is possible? How come sometimes you get lag in bigger maps, which in the past didn't had the lag/slow. ps nothing to do... [more]

nah I figured it out its target_speaker then Key: noise value: name.wav You then need to add the wave in a sounds folder in the pk3 ;). I am making a jumppad with sound, it works now :)... [more]

I am making jumppads and I want to add sound to the jump. So when they use the pad they hear a sound. I know I have to use targetspeaker stuff. I got the correct wavefile. Can anyone say how I make the sound work?... [more]

The biggest tip I can give is don't use too many details/brushes and big distance. Try breaking up big distances with a wall or anything. Also sky texture placement is important. Try to place the sky textures on top of the outerwalls. If you make a ... [more]

do not put too much grass models in your map, that lowers the FPS drastically! Look at col1, the grass is mostly waving and therefore could result in lower FPS. I don't know why you got the problem, like the other guy said, try using solid textures,... [more]

Well I use GTK 1.4.0 standard as its the one I got used too. 1.5 is better I think and faster, I only can't find the height bar. The bar which is on the left in 1.4.0 where you adept the hight of a brush/texture. Anyone knows how this works in 1.... [more]
