want 2 make map of fantasy novels world. Which tools to use? Valve's Source : HL2 Mapping you should take a look at the ut2003/4 it's not that hard to create a wide open area with mountains and such in that engine, i guess it goes the same for ut3, but it isn't released yet so i haven't had an opertunety to look at the editor...
