the same as mp from the console /map mapname the only difference is the mp maps are in /maps/mp sp maps are in /maps and obviously u need to be in the right game exe, ie sp or mp depending... [more]

the .map for models was just something to load in through file and load, and stick it away from your map, so u can click and drag when u want a model, rather than right click, and go browse a model each time... [more]

just use the originakl batch file included with the syntax to compile like everyone else ie for a quick test compile assume map is called test it would look like cd ..\..\tools\bin q3map ../../main/maps/test q3map -vis -fast ../../main/maps/te... [more]
