This fixed my pitch black map Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 MP Mapping Found this fix out, I've seen alot of posts from other newbies about it. If you have a pitch black map but you've properly configured worldspawn try deleting and reinserting dm_spawn point. I had 2 maps where I even added lights outside right on top of ... PROBLEMS WITH THE EDITOR Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 MP Mapping I had the same problem, I solved it by removing all files in the main dir with the exception of .log files, iw_XX.iwd files, and localized_english files.
