There are many barbed wire models to select from, just go into the Misc->Models and search around.. In my map, I also created a trigger_hurt brush around those models so that when people run into them they get hurt. ... [more]

How do you rotate the skybox?

I just tested this and getting the compass to line up where you would like is the 'northyaw' worldspawn setting. The value can be from 0-360. This keeps you from having to rotate your map to match where you would like North to point. You'll have to do ... [more]

Ah yes the custom textures and sounds.. You'll need to take the files from the main/materials/ directory, main/images/ and sound/misc (or wherever you defined your sounds to be) with you if you want to use them in both places. Oh and also your soundalia... [more]

What about using something like online storage to hold the .map file. There's always http://box.net where you get 1GB for free. Then you could just access your .map file from any machine by grabbing it from box.net, make your changes.. and then resave ... [more]
