got it working again, tightened up the size of the light grid volume box, that reduced the number of "assumed" grid dots I guess so it was under the limit.... [more]

how do you cap the end of a cylinder?

I want to cleanly cap the end of a cylinder but have never seen a tutorial that explained it. Do you just make a brush with the same geometric shape as the cylinder and slide it in, won't that leave some inadvertent gaps? ... [more]

If I open a saved .map file from cod2 or cod4 the brushes are there and untextured (fine, get that), but when I go to texture them with cod5, WaW textures it accepts the texture but then doesn't show the texture. Don't suggest that I used a decal, I ... [more]

the map I am testing (mine) works fine through radiant and also on the server when called or when first in the rotation. when it is not first in the rotation it is getting skipped have checked obvious errors like spelling etc. but nothing appears ou... [more]
