with 3dsmax you could convert .md3 to .ase then from .ase to map i think, for 3dsmax you would need the ase export plugin, i have it if you decide to go through all that ... [more]

I believe part of the answer is" inf.gametype " if the mod is based on inf, the file basicly a text file will allow for it to show up in game types when a player has the mod. I will look for an example for you soon.... [more]
