[Two Question About Water]
Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 MP Mapping
I would imagine the green has something to do with the worldspawn settings. Does your water move at all? Try different water textures. Look for one that says ocean in the name. Might find something. Also check the cod 1 tutorials. In particul... [more]

[Two Question About Water]
Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 MP Mapping
Yes they can walk into it. What you can do is make a wall out of brush, then texture it with the "no draw" texture. This will allow people to shoot and throw nades past it but people shouldn't be able to walk past it. Not sure about your second qu... [more]

Confused about terrain
Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 MP Mapping
If all you are doing is working on the terrain height it doesn't matter. If you are trying to blend textures and stuff then you have to have the ground texture(what ever ground text you want)selected. For example: when I first do my terrain to decied ... [more]

texturing the main meshed ground area
Call of Duty 2 : CoD2 MP Mapping
One of the more simple things is to just add color to your mesh. It helps with breaking up patterns. If you look in the tutorials (cod in particular) they do a great job of explaining how to do this. They also have a tutorial that teaches you about ble... [more]

Map Ideas
Call of Duty : CoDUO Mapping
What I do when I have a block is I search for images on the net of ww2. Sometimes I find one that inspires me. The other thing I do is just start laying blocks (represent buildings)out and let the map start developing it's self. So you don't like tanks... [more]
