Band Of Brothers Single Player Demo Conversion

Band Of Brothers in my opinion was one of the greatest documentaries about World War 2 and the new idea of Paratroopers and the Airborne. I personnaly love the series made by HBO and I though why not make a conversion with all new sounds, some new skins and a few other things to add to Call Of Duty. This Band Of Brothers Conversion promises to deliver a new atmosphere dedicated to HBO's WW2 Mini Series Band Of Brothers........ All of/most of the sounds in this sound mod are property of HBO.





Installation:

Pretty basic, just drag the PK3 file zzzzz-Band Of Brothers SPD Conversion and if you wish zzzzz-Band Of Brothers SPD Skins to your main Call Of Duty Folder.

Weapon Sounds:

M1 Garand (HBO)
M1 Carbine (HBO)
Colt 45 (taken from my previous Mod)
BAR (taken from my previous Mod)
Thompson (HBO)
MP40 (HBO)
KAR (HBO)
Lugar (taken from previous mod)
MG 42 (HBO) lots of effort for this
FG42 (taken from my previous mod)

Ambient:

The background sounds or ambient sounds are from HBO Band Of Brothers various episodes.....Thanks to some DOD modders listed below.....

Whizbys:

ALL whizbys were taken from the series which adds a more realistic atmosphere....... turned out VERY well.....

Music:

I also changed all the music from Michael Kamens main theme for BOB to sound pieces at the final speech

Misc

I experimented with the shellshock sound and came up with something I think is cool...... Its a heartbeat silenced........ try it out....... very cool...... I apologize that this sound mod didnt include reload sounds...... or a few other things which could have easily been changed..... the fact is is that they fit great so i left them.


Player Name Changes


Well to add the BOB effect my friend and fellow mod at callofduty.org found out how to change the names of the characters ingame..... I gave him a list and he changed them for me...... now the BOB characters are ingame running with you...... Very cool thanks alot to Spike

Player Skins

Thanks to Old Man Funk who came up with some update skins of the original….. Just some texture effects were added for a more dirt looking worn soldier…… Sry if the spade isn’t what you quite want you have an option of taking it off.
