I'm the 1st person to love other peoples .maps,
and when I find a map maker has given use of his, well it's like a christmas present, adding ctf to golden oldies the easy way :).

but in general, you should hold back on the dot map, but leave contact info in a READ ME , gives mappers the chance to get hold of you for requests

LMAO, I just realized, I don't recall ever leaving a read me, well untill subharbor_ctf, but not in my own maps, ops

While I do think it's important to understand that some people will steal your map if they have the source file (.map). I believe it can also be helpful to others and if you aren't worried about the theft then it is generous and noble to offer it freely with the download.

I never got to see the map, as it failed on loading.
but if your going to continue to map you should not give out your .map, that is a mappers holy grail.
