Arena mp map based on a real location in poland. The actual building has been destroyed short after the war. I was made after a castle from the middle age and use throughly by the german militaries pre-war.

The actual map, features only 2 (3) gametype so far as it is very much a work in progress: TDM and CTF. I have no much time yet to improve it and don't have a server to test it only (testing have been done locally with a couple of test monkey. :p)

Supported Gametype: DTM, CTF, DM
Map Size: I believe to be suitable for 20 to 30 people.
Installation Instructions: just drop the .iwd file into the main folder
Custom Content: Textures
Known Bugs: light issues on the ground and underground floors.
Additional Notes: this is a Beta version and not a release. ;)

Just a little search on the internet for Tannenberg will give you a fair idea of the map I was trying to render. It is a Octogonal map with eight towers, and two sub level. The stairs to access the undegrounds are inside the external wall of the castle, with a access to the cript in the middle of the square. The walls offer enought cover to run around. And the stairs to get in the towers are at the back of each towers.

Three additional weapons are provided: two snipers riffles and a shotgun. I prefer to otherwise prevent the player to be able to get those on the server.

I hope you'll enjoy that one and help me to figure out on how to improve this map.
