My first Doom 3 mod, and first mod/map of any kind in a LONG time. I wanted to replace the lackluster machinegun with something more fun, but still balanced. Browse to http://2337.org/edogy for info on my thought-proccesses in designing this weapon. I threw in a new skin for the weapon, a nice red Martian camo pattern. Check it out, yall. Give me some feedback.

The new autoshotgun fires .410 shells of 00 buckshot at a rate of 200 RPM. While only firing 5 pellets per shell, the higher RoF compensatios nicely.


* Installation *

Unzip the downloaded .zip file.

Place pak_autoSG.pk4 into your Doom3/base directory.

To disable, remove pak_autoSG.pk4 from the Doom3/base directory.

This mod has NOT been designed or tested for multiplayer mode. ANYTHING could happen! ;)

* Updates Planned *

I plan on making this a full replacement. As it is currently, there are plenty of things still to do. Coming up with a good gun name (ASG-410?), getting monsters to carry & wield the gun, more skin work, ammo names in the game, etc.
