Deleting Registries
Versions: You must be logged in to view history.
I thought it was about time I made a tutorial after I see all the work people have put into making tutorials for me. So I had a look, and thought about some questions that get asked around forums. One of those questions was, How do I delete registries? So, I have decided to make a tutorial on deleting registries. Believe me, it's very easy!
Be careful editing your registry as it can cause your computer to break and fail. Do it at your own risk.

I thought it was about time I made a tutorial after I see all the work people have put into making tutorials for me. So I had a look, and thought about some questions that get asked around forums. One of those questions was, How do I delete registries? So, I have decided to make a tutorial on deleting registries. Believe me, it's very easy!

This tutorial is designed for Windows users!

Ok, deleting registries isn't always nescessary to delete something, but if you get consistant errors, it's more than likely that your Registry has been infected. That means that we need to delete it.

This is going to be a tutorial for CoDRadiant, but will work fine for the UO version of the Map and Mod tools.

Firsty, we need to open up the Run window. We do this by clicking Start or pressing the Windows key. Then select Run. I am using Windows XP, but for some running 98, it doesn't always show up, so take a look around the start menu.

The run box looks like this:

Then we type in ' regedit ' in the open command box.

This will open Registry Editor, it looks like this

Expand the folder ' HKEY_CURRENT_USER ' then expand the folder inside that ' Software '. Look for CoDRadiant, then click it.

At this point, a registry will come up in the white box/window to the side of thew list of folders. Select it, Right click and select delete.

Then you can un-install the Map/Mod tools, then reinstall them.

I hope this helps!
