If you have found an error with the mod tools, post the error here and how someone else can reproduce that same error. Make your post clear and to the point. Post ONLY errors and supporting information. All other posts will be deleted.

We are providing this thread for Treyarch in the hopes they will be able to solve these issues listed herein.

All deleted posts will read as "-- DELETED POST PER FORUM RULES --" because that is how the forums system is built. It doesn't mean you broke the overall forum rules but that your post was not exactly as we have asked.

Please post errors AND how to recreate those errors. One without the other is of no use and will cause your post to be deleted.

Single player.

  1. I still can't get SP sounds working despite the sounds extracter made available. Cause unknown
  2. Cycle preview model doesn't work on action nodes.

Multiplayer

  1. The random rotation on models seems to move them to 0, 0, 0 instead of dropping them at the point you have them.
  2. Sounds fx not working? a lot of people have complained about not getting any sounds fx (ie placing the struct in rad ..) to work.
  3. Vehicles, although we have had a community member working on them, should they not work already. There are many threads on this so i wont go into detail.

Also just a quick question, what are the limits or have they been reduced.. im having difficulty finshing my maps without hitting some limits.

This is not supported by our game. This was a COD4 specific thing. The hint text for it should probably be removed from the Radiant .def file so it's not misleading.

What do you mean by "sounds" ? do you hear ANY sounds at all ? Can you post the contents of your zone_source file so I can see how you are including the sounds you want to hear?

I've noticed this myself, very odd. I'll make sure it gets on the list

Please, go into detail or point me to the threads you're talking about. Just saying "vehicles" doesn't give me much info. Do these same problems still exsit after the mod tools patch? What exactly is the issue you are having with the vehicles?

Can you be more specific ? What limits are you hitting ?

By sounds i mean, footsteps, gunshots, everything. At first i thought it was due to mising sounds as reported by the console, so i extracted all sounds placed them in my raw/sounds which did remove the console error. Give me a min and i'll try to look up an old thread in the forums

To be honest i havn't yet tried to add them to my map. But this is a few links i took from the rgn website. Tests and more tests

To be honest im not the best one to talk to about that as i havn't even experimented yet.

Hang on on the vehicles stuff Rasta as i might have found the problem. Already told ChrisP about it. Will update soon.

thread also contain info for my error. Though reading through maybe it's something on my rig

You edited many times, just replying to some of your questions.

MAX_BRUSH_COLLISIONVERTS (196608) exceeded seems to be the one im stuck on. I understand the cause but my map isn't huge, yes it's big but no bigger than some of them united offensive maps. i reduced the tri's vert and patch but approx 4/5 into my map completion i have been stuck on this error.

I can't find a few threads im looking for but heres one with someone else on the same error

Well i stand corrected on the destructible vehicles..I have tested and found all to work now..
Im still getting the error of 'exceeded limit of 400 'fx' assets'
when i try to add the driveable vehicles..
